Event terms & participant waiver

Last updated November 2, 2026

"Livewire," "we," and "us" mean Livewire Laser Tag & Mobile Gaming, a division of AudioBahn Productions LLC, Mishawaka, Indiana. "You" means the person booking the event, and "participant" means anyone who plays. By paying a deposit, you agree to Part A on behalf of your event, and you agree to make sure every participant (or their parent or legal guardian) has agreed to Part B before they play.

Part A — Event terms

1. Booking, deposit and balance

A $150 deposit holds your date and is applied to your total. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the event by card, check or cash. If the balance is not paid by the start of the event, we may decline to set up and the deposit is kept.

2. Rescheduling and cancellation

  • Reschedule with 7 or more days' notice: your full deposit moves to the new date (within 12 months).
  • Reschedule or cancel with less than 7 days' notice: the deposit is kept. We will still try to find you another date.
  • Weather: rescheduling for rain, lightning, high wind, extreme heat or cold is free, at your request or ours, up to 3 hours before start. Our event lead's call on unsafe conditions is final.
  • If we have to cancel for any reason other than weather or unsafe conditions at your venue, you receive a full refund of everything paid.

3. Your venue

You are responsible for having the right to use the space and for any venue permit, reservation or fee (for example, a park pavilion). Outdoors we need roughly 60 × 80 feet of reasonably level, mowed ground free of holes, debris, animal waste and sprinklers running. Indoors we need a gym, hall or similar room. If power is marked available, an outlet within 100 feet. If the space is not safe or not ready at arrival, we will work with you to adjust; if play cannot safely happen, the event is treated as a late cancellation.

4. Travel

No travel fee within about 60 miles of Mishawaka. Beyond that, events are quoted at $2.50 per mile past 60, both ways. Destination events (about 100 miles and up) carry a $1,500 minimum.

5. Supervision and conduct

Our crew runs the games. You (or an adult you designate) must stay on site for the whole event and are responsible for participants outside the arena and for guests who are not playing. Our event lead may pause or stop play, or remove a participant, for unsafe behavior — including climbing on or tackling bunkers, striking anyone, or ignoring the safety briefing. No refund is owed for time lost to unsafe behavior.

6. Equipment

Equipment stays our property. You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear caused by participants or guests (for example, a tagger thrown or a bunker cut), billed at repair or replacement cost.

7. Photos and video

We may photograph or record the event for our own marketing (website, social media). Tell our event lead before the start if you or any participant does not want to appear, and we will honor it.

8. Alcohol

Participants who appear impaired will not be allowed to play. Adult events may serve alcohol to guests who are not in the arena.

Part B — Participant waiver and release

Read before playing. A parent or legal guardian must agree for any participant under 18.

1. What laser tag is

Livewire laser tag uses infrared-light taggers. Nothing is fired and nothing strikes you. Play involves running, crouching, quick direction changes and moving around inflatable bunkers on grass, pavement or a gym floor, sometimes outdoors in heat or cold, and for Glow Games, in low light.

2. Assumption of risk

I understand that physical activity carries risk, including trips, falls, collisions with other players or bunkers, sprains, scrapes, bruises, exhaustion, heat- or cold-related illness, and in rare cases more serious injury. I am (or my child is) in adequate health to play. I knowingly and voluntarily accept these risks, known and unknown.

3. Release

To the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law, I release and agree not to sue AudioBahn Productions LLC, Livewire Laser Tag & Mobile Gaming, and their owners, employees, contractors and crew ("Released Parties") for any injury, illness, death, or loss of or damage to property arising from participation in or attendance at the event, including claims based on the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties. This release does not cover gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

4. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims brought by me or on behalf of the participant I sign for, and from claims arising from my or that participant's conduct toward others or toward equipment.

5. Rules of play

  • Follow the game coach's instructions and the safety briefing.
  • No running into, climbing on, jumping over or tackling bunkers.
  • No physical contact with other players. Taggers are never used to strike anyone or anything.
  • Closed-toe shoes required. Remove jewelry or items that could catch.
  • Stop immediately when the game coach calls a stop.

6. Medical

If I or the participant I sign for is injured, I authorize the crew to call for emergency medical help. I am responsible for any resulting medical costs.

7. Photo and video release

I allow Livewire to use photos and video of the event, which may include me or the participant I sign for, for marketing, unless I tell the event lead before the start of the event that I do not.

8. Agreement

I have read this waiver, I understand it gives up legal rights, and I agree to it freely. If I am agreeing for a minor, I am that minor's parent or legal guardian and I agree on their behalf. This agreement is governed by Indiana law and is intended to be as broad as Indiana law allows; if any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
