Better Sunday Sound.
A Team That Can Run It.
We tune the system you already have, train your volunteers on it, and stay on call when something goes wrong — at a price a church budget can handle.
The Problem Is Almost Never The Speakers
Most churches we visit have already spent money on sound and still can't be understood in the back rows. Usually the gear is fine. The system was never tuned for the room, the board was set up by someone who left years ago, and the volunteer running it Sunday morning was handed it with ten minutes of instruction. We fix the setup, and then we teach your people to run it.
If Your Team Can't Run It, It Doesn't Work
We design around who is actually at the board — often a volunteer with no training and fifteen minutes before service. Saved presets for your regular services, labeled controls, a one-page guide, and training until people are comfortable, not until we're done talking.

How We Train Your Team
Every volunteer works through the same checklist on your own equipment. We track who has learned what, so you always know who can run a regular Sunday and who can handle Easter.
Level 1
Sunday Operator
- Cold start to ready in under 10 minutes, unassisted
- Recalls the Sunday scene and line-checks every wireless mic
- Stops staged feedback within 5 seconds
- Finds a staged dead mic with the 5-step check in under 60 seconds
- Runs a full service with no missed mic cues
- Shuts down in the right order and logs batteries
- Knows who to call and what to tell them
Level 2

Church Sound FAQ
Is the first visit really free?
Yes. In about 45 minutes we walk your sanctuary, hear what's going wrong, and recommend a path — no cost and no pressure. If you want a full assessment during a real service, that's our Sound Check.
I'm the pastor, not a sound person. Do I need to understand any of this?
No. Tell us what goes wrong on Sundays in plain words — people can't hear in the back, the mic squeals, the livestream sounds bad. We handle the technical side and train whoever runs the board, including your current sound volunteer.
We have a small budget. Is it worth calling?
Yes. Most bad church sound is fixed by setting up what you already own correctly and teaching people to use it — not by buying new equipment. A tune-up and a trained team often beat a new system.
Our volunteers keep changing. How does training stick?
Every volunteer works through the same three-level checklist and is signed off only when they can do each skill alone. Care plans include regular visits to train new people as they join. You also get a written guide and a quick-reference card at the board.
Who does the training?
Working AudioBahn engineers who mix concerts, festivals and theater every week. Every trainer teaches the same checklist, so your team learns one way of doing things.
Can you mix our Christmas or Easter service?
Yes. Our engineer mixes on your system, or we bring extra mics, monitors or speakers when the service needs more. Partner plan members get 15% off, and the Tech Director plan includes one special service a year.
Can you evaluate a system someone else installed?
Yes. That is what the tune-up is for: we calibrate what you have, label it, save presets, and tell you honestly whether anything actually needs replacing.
Do you work with churches of any denomination?
Yes. We work to your building, your service format and your team.
